CHICAGO – Authorities are searching for a teen who went under water while swimming at Rainbow Beach Sunday afternoon and did not resurface.
Chicago police said a 16-year-old boy was last seen in the water at around 3:45 p.m. when he went under and did not resurface. Divers with the Chicago Fire Department searched for the teen, but did not find him.
The search was later stopped due to inclement weather conditions.
Area Two Detectives are investigating.
