The Martian has landed.

The Yankees called up top prospect Jasson Dominguez to serve as the 27th man on their active roster for Sunday night’s MLB Little League Classic in Williamsport, Pa.

MLB allowed the Yankees and Tigers to add an extra player for their special regular-season matchup at Historic Bowman Field.

Dominguez, 21, is hitting .298 with seven home runs and 24 RBI in 151 minor-league at-bats this season.

Nicknamed “The Martian” for his out-of-this-world skill set, Dominguez electrified Yankees fans after making his MLB debut last September by hitting four home runs in eight games.

However, the switch-hitting center fielder underwent season-ending elbow surgery later that month and, after returning from that injury earlier this year, missed another six weeks with an oblique strain.

Sunday marked Dominguez’s first time on the MLB roster this season, with Aaron Judge, Juan Soto, Alex Verdugo and backup Trent Grisham blocking him in the Yankees’ outfield.

His activation added a little extra excitement to the 2024 edition of the annual Little League Classic, an MLB game that takes place in the host city of the Little League World Series.
