HODGKINS, Ill. — A woman was stabbed Thursday afternoon in the parking lot of a Sam’s Club in Hodgkins.
Officers responded to the 9500 block of West Joliet Road on the report of a stabbing.
Hodgkins police at the scene located a woman on the ground near the fuel center with a stab wound to the chest.
She was transported to Loyola Hospital and underwent surgery.
Police believe the suspect fled. A vehicle was stopped near 30th and Spaulding in Chicago and three people, believed to be connected, we taken into cusody.
The investigation is ongoing, according to police.
