Illinois city fights lawsuit on reparations program for Black Americans

In 2021 Evanston, Illinois, became the first U.S. city to offer Black Americans reparation payments for discrimination. A conservative group is now suing the city, calling the program “unconstitutional.” NBC News’ Yamiche Alcindor speaks to a family who benefits from the program and how this might affect them.
