The Clippers’ move to the Intuit Dome represents a significant step in the team’s efforts to establish a dedicated and permanent home in L.A., where it has shared an arena with the Los Angeles Lakers and L.A. Kings of the NHL since 1999.
Among its many unique features, seats in the upper bowl are 45 feet closer to the court than at the team’s current home at Crypto.com Arena.
Taking a page from European soccer and collegiate sports, the Clippers will have a dedicated supporter section aptly named “The Wall.” The Wall is comprised of 51 uninterrupted rows of seats, filled with 4,500 fans stacked high and close to the action.
A more-than-38,000-square-foot double-sided “halo” board comprised of more than 233 million LEDs will hang from the roof of Intuit Dome, giving every person in attenda ance clear view of the current action, score, time and in-arena entertainment.
The arena had been chosen to host the 2026 NBA All-Star Game and basketball competition in the 2028 Los Angeles Olympics.
