HOUSTON, Texas (KTRK) — A warning to anyone who jogs alone — police confirmed a woman was assaulted while running at Memorial Park.
Houston police said the attack happened around 5 a.m. on Saturday, Aug. 10 in the 6500 block of Memorial Drive.
The runner was physically assaulted and is still in the hospital, officials said.
According to police, she was approached by a man in his 20s who accused her of running over his brother. Then, he reportedly began physically assaulting the woman and dragged her off the trail.
