Police said they found an 11-month-old girl dead in a Bronx apartment Wednesday night and are investigating the circumstances around her death.

Officers found Jazeli Mirabal unconscious and unresponsive at around 7:45 p.m., after responding to a 911 call at her building on West Farms Road and Boone Avenue in Crotona Park.

Paramedics took Mirabal to NYC Health and Hospitals/Lincoln where she was pronounced dead.

Officials could not immediately say who called 911 or if her parents were home at the time.

Police had made no arrests as of Thursday morning and the city medical examiner was still investigating the cause of death.

This is a developing story based on preliminary police information and will likely be updated.
