Porto’s Bakery, a Southern California staple known for its Cuban delicacies and baked goods, is slated to open its seventh location at Downtown Disney in 2025, the chain announced Tuesday.
The news comes as Disney continues to revamp its outdoor shopping center. The entertainment giant recently welcomed other restaurants, including Din Tai Fung, Paseo, Centrico and Tiendita, to Downtown Disney.
The arrival of Porto’s Bakery in Downtown Disney was initially announced in 2022 during the D23 Expo, currently known as D23: The Ultimate Disney Fan Event. The chain’s Downtown Disney location is slated to be at the former location of La Brea’s bakery near the Esplanade.
Porto’s Bakery also has locations in Buena Park, Downey, Glendale, West Covina, Burbank and Northridge.
