Skai Jackson, the former Disney Channel star known for her roles on “Jessie” and “Bunk’d,” was arrested last week for domestic battery, after an alleged physical altercation with her boyfriend.

The 22-year-old actress was taken into custody in Los Angeles after Universal Studios security seeing Jackson and her boyfriend in a heated argument, law enforcement sources told TMZ.

Security personnel reportedly observed Jackson pushing her boyfriend multiple times during the incident, although Jackson and her boyfriend have both denied that anything physical occurred.

Authorities later reviewed video footage that reportedly showed Jackson pushing her partner, TMZ reports. She was subsequently arrested for misdemeanor domestic battery, cited, and released a few hours later.

Law enforcement sources tell the outlet Jackson insisted she and her boyfriend are happily engaged and are even expecting a baby together.

So far, she’s kept her relationship largely private on social media and has yet to reveal his identity.

The Los Angeles County District Attorney’s Office is expected to review the case involving the couple to determine if any formal charges will be filed.

Jackson first rose to fame as a child actress, playing Zuri Ross on “Jessie” from 2011 to 2015, and reprising the role on the spinoff “Bunk’d” from 2015 to 2018.

Her more recent credits include the “Marvel Rising” animated series and the 2022 film “Sheroes.” She also competed on season 29 of “Dancing With the Stars” in 2020 and finished in fifth place.

Her representatives have yet to respond to a request for comment on her recent arrest.
