Four men shot at South Loop business, one in critical condition

Four men were shot after an individual opened fire inside a South Loop business early Monday morning during a verbal altercation, Chicago police said.

The shooting occurred at approximately 3:36 a.m. in the 700 block of South Clinton Street.

A 27-year-old man was shot multiple times and transported to Northwestern Memorial Hospital in critical condition. The other three men shot were taken to the Stroger Hospital, all in fair condition after taking bullets to the thigh or lower abdomen.

No other injuries were reported, and no one was taken into custody. Police are currently investigating.
