'LUMENAURA': Aurora to host immersive light-and-sound exhibit this fall

US

AURORA, Ill. – Residents and visitors to Aurora this fall will have the chance to experience the City of Lights live up to its nickname.

Appropriately dubbed “LUMENAURA”, the light-and-sound based art exhibit will be held in downtown Aurora from Oct. 4 to Nov. 1, featuring interactive street art, live entertainment, a variety of food and beverage options, and more.

Visitors will be guided along a path throughout downtown Aurora while interacting with free, family-friendly art and sound displays.

The theme of this year’s event is “portals” that will take visitors to the past, future, across space, or to a parallel universe in a “creative literal or conceptual interpretation of the theme.”

The month-long event will also feature a three-day weekend celebration held from Oct. 11 to Oct. 13. Attendees will be able to travel through said portals, marvel at illuminated art, collaborate on artistic activities, and dance to music on the main stage.
