3 masked suspects steal cash from Popeyes restaurant in L.A.

The Los Angeles Police Department is searching for three masked burglars who stole cash from a Popeyes restaurant in Los Angeles. 

According to LAPD Officer Chaves, officers responded to the Popeyes Louisiana Kitchen at 13736 Van Nuys Boulevard in the Pacoima neighborhood on calls of a burglary just before 2 a.m. 

Upon arriving at the scene, officers found that a side door had been smashed and that money was taken.  The exact amount is not known. 

Video from the scene obtained by KTLA shows multiple officers lining up outside the broken door with their weapons drawn before entering the restaurant. 

The three suspects were all wearing “medical masks” and remain outstanding as of 7 a.m. Saturday, Officer Chaves stated.
