Adele confirms she’s getting married, flashes engagement ring

Superstar Adele and sports agent Rich Paul are getting married, with the Grammy-winning singer seemingly confirming their engagement at her latest concert in Munich.

While performing Friday as part of her monthlong residency at Messe München, Adele responded to a fan’s sign that read, “Will you marry me?” by holding up her left hand, flashing a ring and replying, “I can’t marry you because I’m already getting married.”

The crowd erupted into cheers at the 36-year-old’s announcement.

Adele and Paul, who first sparked dating rumors in July 2021 when they were spotted together at an NBA Finals game, have kept their relationship mostly private.

“He’s just hilarious. And very smart,” Adele said of Paul during an interview with Oprah that November. She added it was the first time she’s ever “loved myself and been open to loving and being loved by someone else.”

In February 2022, engagement rumors began swirling when Adele attended the BRIT Awards wearing a massive pear-shaped diamond ring on her left hand, but the speculation went largely unanswered.

Last September, rumors made the rounds that the pair had secretly tied the knot after Adele referred to Paul as her “husband” during her Las Vegas residency.

Adele was previously married to British entrepreneur Simon Konecki from 2018 to 2021. The former couple shares one child, 11-year-old son Angelo.

Her latest album, “30,” focuses on her experience healing from her divorce and mending her relationship with her son. The album spent six weeks atop the Billboard 200 when it was released in November 2021.
