A man went on a gruesome stabbing spree Tuesday night, gouging two people in Queens in unprovoked attacks that left one victim in critical condition, police said.

In the first attack about 5:15 p.m., a 25-year-old man was pumping gas into his car at a Mobil gas station on North Conduit Avenue in Ozone Park when a 40-year-old man stabbed him in the back, police sources told the Daily News. The attack was captured on the gas station’s security cameras and appeared to be unprovoked, police said.

“He was bleeding a lot from the left side,” Rakib Hussein, 30, who works at the Mobil station, told The News. “He was pumping gas at pump number one, and the guy walked up and stabbed him in the back.”

The victim staggered into the building where Hussein was working behind the cash register and begged him for help, he recounted. “He said ‘call the police.’ When I saw how hard he was bleeding I was in shock. I was scared. What was I supposed to do?”

Hussein called 911, and an ambulance transported the victim to Jamaica Hospital, where he was in stable condition and is expected to survive, according to police.

Meanwhile, the unhinged stabber fled on foot to the nearby Aqueduct-North Conduit Avenue A train station, where he slashed a 67-year-old man in the neck awaiting a train on the southbound platform, police said. The older man was rushed to Jamaica Hospital and was in critical condition, according to police.
