The Los Angeles Police Department has released photos of the suspects and vehicle connected to the May killing of “General Hospital” actor Johnny Wactor

Wactor, 37, was shot and killed during an attempted catalytic converter theft in the early morning hours of May 25.

According to witness statements later confirmed by the LAPD, Wactor was leaving his shift as a bartender when he noticed three men who had raised his vehicle with a floor jack in the 1200 block of Hope Street in downtown Los Angeles.

Upon confronting them, he was shot by one of the men “without provocation,” police added. He was transported to a hospital where he was pronounced dead.

The suspects fled northbound on Hope, investigators said in the wake of the fatal shooting.

On Sunday, authorities released a community alert with new details surrounding the actor’s death, including photos of the suspects and their vehicle.

The suspects’ vehicle is a stolen black 2018 Infiniti Q50 sedan with a tan interior, LAPD stated. Photos included in the community alert depict the three suspects as three men, two in gray-colored hoodies and one in a black hoodie.

According to LAPD, the man who pulled the trigger, identified only as “Suspect 1,” has a tattoo above his left eye and on his right cheek.

Anyone with information surrounding Johnny Wactor’s murder is urged to contact LAPD Central Bureau Homicide Detectives Howerth and Bobadilla by calling 213-996-4143.

After business hours and on weekends, calls should be directed to the Central Area Watch Commander.

Wactor appeared as Brando Corbin in 164 episodes of the popular soap opera “General Hospital” as well as other shows such as “Westworld” and “Criminal Minds.”
