Antioch man charged with burglaries of Walnut Creek homes

WALNUT CREEK —  A 34-year-old Antioch man was charged with residential burglary on Friday afternoon, Walnut Creek police said in a press release.

The suspect was arrested by Walnut Creek police on July 30 after officers responded to a burglary report on the 1100 block of Flowerwood Place. The Contra Costa County District Attorney’s Office has filed charges against the suspect in court on two counts of burglary. He remains in custody at the Martinez Detention Facility with a bail set at $250,000.

Police say the suspect is also wanted in connection to a previous burglary in the 800 block of Bancroft Road.
