Meghan goes solo in Hamptons without Prince Harry

US

Prince Harry raised eyebrows when he failed to accompany Meghan Markle to the Hamptons last weekend.

The Duchess of Sussex left her husband of five years at home on the West Coast to meet up with an elite group of businesswomen, including Gwyneth Paltrow and Huma Abedin, at the mansion of Amy Griffin, the founder of the G9 Ventures’ Summer Summit.

Over 100 “girlbosses” attended panels where experts discussed new startups, which Meghan is passionate about as she’s eager to make more money.

Harry was at home in Montecito, Calif., with the couple’s two kids, Archie, 5, and Lilibet, 3, either by choice or perhaps because the Duchess of Sussex needed some “me time,” speculated a pal in their L.A. set.

Celebrity circles are buzzing that Harry is having “even more trouble adjusting to Meghan’s Hollywood lifestyle” and that he misses seeing his pals in England.

The ousted royal in his Netflix documentary said, “I miss the weird family gatherings when we are all sort of brought together under one roof.” The problem, say royal courtiers, is that Prince William and Princess Kate are wary given all that’s been said by Harry and Meghan that has hurt the family

Rumors of the royal rift and marriage woes are routinely splashed across the tabloids in the UK where Harry and Meghan remain underwater in the polls.

“People are tired of Harry and Meghan whining and complaining. No one wants them back no matter how ‘slimmed down’ the monarchy is with both King Charles and Princess Kate battling cancer.”

Meghan was in East Hampton with her friend designer Misha Nonoo, who set up Harry and Meghan on their first blind date at Soho House in London in 2016.

“Following in Gwyneth Paltrow’s footsteps and creating her own Goop empire is Meghan’s dream,” said one of the businesswomen on the scene. “She went to East Hampton where Gwyneth lives so she could ask for advice on her new ventures,” said an insider.

D’yan Forest, the Guinness World Records title holder for oldest working female comedian, is lucky to be alive after she was assaulted on Seventh Ave.

Forest, 90, was heading to Equinox to swim some laps. “All of the sudden I was sucker-punched in the eye and knocked to the ground,” she told me.

“I’m lying there and the first thing I’m thinking is, ‘I have a show, how am I going to perform?’”

With her left eye swollen shut, Forest was rushed by ambulance to the hospital, where she learned that police had video of her attacker from various street cameras and had identified the miscreant.

“I learned it was a woman,” she said. “There’s a warrant for her arrest.”

Forest, who’s lived in the Village for 50 years, said she’s now “petrified out of my mind.”

But she’s preparing to perform Aug. 13 at Joe’s Pub. “The director said, ‘You look horrible.’ I said, ‘Thanks.’”

Cate Blanchett doesn’t know from video games. So playing the lead in Eli Roth’s new “Borderlands” game-to-movie was challenging. The experts she called in? Her kids.

“I knew nothing,” she said while doing press for the film. “So the whole of ‘Borderlands’ has been a process of discovery. I went online and it just exploded. My older kids and their friends who play games knew all about it.”

The actual game herself? “I tried to play it but I have two left thumbs and kept bashing into sand hills and walls.”

Another thing she found daunting, and humbling, was that her role of Lilith has been played before.

“As a woman in the game, she’s been inhabited by thousands of women around the world before I inhabited her,” she said with a laugh.

Whether you’ve played or not, “Borderlands” inhabits theaters Aug. 9. Blanchett says you might see her. “I’m sneaking in to see it with an audience on a big screen.”

Just don’t look for her at an arcade playing it.

Paris Hilton’s aunt Kyle Richards, the sister of Kathy Hilton and a fixture on “The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills,” stars with her daughter Alexia Umansky in a funny Instagram skit.

During the “I Love Lucy”-like bit, for Peter Thomas Roth’s Water Drench Cloud Cream, Kyle says, “On my gosh, it feels so weightless, it feels like a cool drink of water for my skin,” just before Alexia tosses a bottle of water in her mom’s face.

Alexia, who stars in “Buying Beverly Hills,” then exclaims, “It will even help with your fine lines and wrinkles!” to which Kyle deadpans, “What wrinkles?”

Six-time Olympian Prince Hubertus von Hohenlohe, the son of designer Dianne von Fürstenberg’s sister-in-law Princess Ira von Fürstenberg, exhibited his portraits of Clint Eastwood and Brigitte Bardot at Isabelle Bscher’s Galerie Gmurzynska’s booth at The Aspen Art Fair.

The documentary “Diane von Fürstenberg: Woman in Charge” now on Hulu explores the designer’s marriages to Prince Egon von Fürstenberg and movie mogul Barry Diller.

Dianne also dishes on being asked to have a three-way with Mick Jagger and David Bowie; she says she turned them down.

Prince von Hohenlohe, 64, who is pals with the designer, just retired after skiing for his native Mexico since 1984.

“My Olympic career was very artistic, it was like an art installation,” said the photographer.
