Suspect sought for breaking into law enforcement vehicles

CHICAGO – Chicago police are searching for the suspect(s) accused of breaking into law enforcement vehicles in the city’s Edison Park neighborhood.

Police said the suspect is known to break the driver or passenger side rear window and then take various pieces of law enforcement equipment.

The incidents happened at the following times and locations:

  • 7100 block of North Oleander Ave. July 21, 2024, between 1:45 am and 12:00 p.m.
  • 6400 block of North Northwest Hwy. August 3, 2024, at 2:36 a.m.
  • 7400 block of North Harlem Ave. August 3, 2024 at 2:40 a.m.

No information on the suspect(s) was released.
