Two men were wounded in Queens early Saturday when a gunman shot into a car before being chased off by police, cops said.

Patrolling officers were responding to the sound of gunfire when they found the gunman shooting into a black Toyota on Roosevelt Ave. near 89th St. in East Elmhurst around 3:15 a.m., police said.

The gunman fled north on 89th St., and one officer fired off a round amid the chaos. That shot did not strike anyone, according to police.
