McDonald's SoCal to host first back-to-school event with free haircuts, braids

McDonald’s of Southern California is teaming up with barbers and braiders for its first-ever back to school event on Aug. 11.

Attendees can receive a free haircut or braided hairstyle during the event, which is open to kids entering kindergarten through 12th grade. Attendees can also enjoy music, games and McDonald’s treats during the event, which runs from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m.

The event, known as McDonald’s Back-to-School Braids and Buzz, will take place at McDonald’s on 6904 La Tijera Blvd. in Los Angeles.

As of Friday afternoon, there are no more hair appointments, but guests are encouraged to join the waitlist.
