CHICAGO — Chicago police seek the public’s help locating a group of unidentified males linked to an early morning armed robbery spree on the city’s Southwest and Near West Sides.

According to police, in each instance, three men in all-black clothing pulled up in a stolen silver Hyundai Sonata, threatened the victim with handguns, and took their property.

One of the victims was also pistol-whipped, police added.

According to police, the following incidents took place within an hour:

  • 3000 block of South Archer Ave on June 26 at 4:50 AM.
  • 3800 block of South Francisco Ave on June 26 at 5:10 AM.
  • 1700 block of West 47th St on June 26 at 5:22 AM.
  • 4600 block of South Wood St on June 26 at 5:38 AM.
  • 2400 block of West Pershing Rd on June 26 at 5:34 AM.
  • 5800 block of South Oakley Ave on June 26 at 5:37 AM.
  • 2300 block of West Cermak Rd on June 26 at 5:48 AM.
