CHICAGO —The Chicago Bears and Caleb Williams have come to terms on a rookie deal for the No. 1 overall pick, according to the NFL Network’s Ian Rapoport.
Rapoport said the deal is for four years and a fully-guaranteed $39.49 million, with a $25.5 million signing bonus.
Earlier in the day, fellow top ten draft pick Rome Odunze also agreed to and signed his rookie contract with the Bears.
Chicago’s rookie draft class was required to report for Bears Training Camp by today, July 16.
Veterans are to report to training camp by Friday, July 19, and the first practice is scheduled to take place Saturday, July 20.
Chicago takes on the Houston Texans in their first preseason game on Sunday, Aug. 1 in the Canton Hall of Fame Game, which opens up the NFL preseason slate of games.
