Russia’s internal security and counterintelligence service, the Federal Security Service (FSB), has reportedly thwarted an assassination attempt of three high-ranking Russian military officers.
The FSB said a suspect was arrested for allegedly planning to deliver three explosive devices to officers in the Russian Defense Ministry, which they claim was on behalf of Ukrainian military intelligence, Russian state-owned domestic news agency RIA Novosti has reported.
