Hurricane Beryl moves past Jamaica, bringing punishing winds and storm surge

Hurricane Beryl passed by Jamaica as a Category 4 storm, bringing fierce winds, powerful waves and torrential rain to the island. It is now a Category 3 storm heading toward Mexico’s Yucatan Peninsula.
