A man was fatally stabbed in Hollywood Tuesday night, and his neighbor has been arrested in connection with the attack.
The stabbing at Yucca Street and Wilcox Avenue was reported at 11:45 p.m., according to the Los Angeles Police Department.
Officers arrived to find a man suffering from a stab wound to his chest. He was taken to a local hospital, where he was pronounced dead.
The preliminary investigation revealed that the victim and his neighbor got into an altercation on Yucca Street before the neighbor pulled out “an unknown weapon” and stabbed the victim before fleeing, police said.
About an hour after the attack, police arrested the victim’s neighbor at his home.
The identities of the victim and his alleged killer have not been released.
