CHICAGO — A 15-year-old boy is in critical condition after being shot on the city’s Southeast Side.
The shooting happened around 10 p.m. Monday in the 2900 block of East 90th Street in the South Chicago neighborhood. Police said a group of males were standing on the street when shots were fired by an unknown person, striking two people.
A 15-year-old boy was shot in the right abdomen and was transported to Comer Children’s Hospital in critical condition.
A 30-year-old man was shot in the right hand and leg and transported to the University of Chicago Medical Center in good condition.
No one is in custody. Area Two Detectives are investigating.
