Two people including a 17-year-old boy were shot during a fight in the Bronx on Thursday, police said.
The teen and a 24-year-old man fought on a set of stairs off Grand Concourse near E. 175th St. in Morris Heights just before 7:55 p.m., cops and sources said.
During the fight, the teen was shot twice in the chest and the older man was hit once in the elbow.
Both victims walked themselves to nearby BronxCare Health System, where they were expected to survive.
“He was shot and holding his side,” a witness said of one of the victims. “His friend was helping him walk down to the hospital.”
Later Thursday night, a trail of blood could be seen leading from the staircase down to Walton Ave. toward the hospital. A knife was also abandoned at the scene.
There were no immediate arrests.
