CHICAGO — A 14-year-old boy was critically wounded while walking through Columbus Park on Tuesday night.

CPD said the boy was in the 500 block of South Central Avenue, which is inside the West Side park, when shots were fired in the area.

He sustained two gunshot wounds to the left thigh and was transported in critical condition.
