KANKAKEE, Ill. — A crash on a residential street in Kankakee was captured by a home security camera.
The crash occurred around 6:30 p.m. from near the intersection of West Hawkins and South 5th Avenue in Kankakee.
Video shows a pickup truck parked in a driveway of a home with a driver inside. A small SUV can be seen in the video travelling down the street at high rate of speed. The SUV hits and jumps a curb then collides with the parked truck.
The Daily Journal reports both drivers were taken to the hospital and have been released.
