Get ready for a hot one Wednesday and Thursday, Chicagoland.
Daytime temperatures will soar to around 90 degrees inland Wednesday, though you can find a little relief along the lake, with highs in the mid-80s there.
It will be somewhat humid Wednesday, but still tolerable, with dew points expected to reach the low to mid-60s. Temps were very nice already in the early-morning hours, with highs well into the 60s throughout Chicagoland and reaching 70 along the lake.
It’ll also be mainly sunny and dry throughout most of the day, with increasing cloud cover in the late afternoon leading to a mostly cloudy Wednesday night.
The real uncomfortable humidity will then settle in for Thursday, with highs in the 90s again. There’s an early chance for storms Thursday, then chances increase after 5 p.m.
Friday and Saturday will see a bit of a cooldown, then temps will get right back into the mid-80s to low 90s for Father’s Day on Sunday and into next week.
