Roads temporarily back open after deadly US 183 crash, investigation to resume in the morning

LEANDER, Texas (KXAN) — Roads are temporarily back open after a deadly crash in in Leander on Monday, the Leander Police Department said on social media.

Around 10:33 p.m., LPD said roads will close again at 9 a.m. to resume the investigation.

The crash happened on U.S. Highway 183 at Sheila Drive, according to police.

A KXAN photojournalist on the scene took a photo, which shows an overturned motorcycle. We’re waiting to receive more details from LPD.

The southbound U.S. 183 and Sheila at Glass Drive will be closed again, and drivers should expect delays Tuesday morning, according to police.
