Monday forecast: Seasonal temps, plenty of fall sunshine in Chicagoland

US

It’ll be another picture-perfect fall day to start the work week in Chicagoland.

Early-morning conditions Monday feature a crisp fall chill, with most areas in the 40s and lakeside areas in the 50s.

It’ll warm as the sun comes up, with Monday highs in the upper 60s, right about on par with normal highs for this time of year. Winds will be from the north/northwest at around 10 miles per hour and gusting up to 15.

There will also be plenty of sunshine Monday, with some stray afternoon clouds possibly floating in.

That weather pattern looks to continue all week, as Chicagoland will stay bathed in fall sunshine. Temps warm a bit Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday into the lower 70s, then possibly all the way up to around 80 on Friday.
