Apple Fest returns to Lincoln Square

US

CHICAGO – About 50,000 people from across the Midwest are expected this weekend for Apple Fest in Lincoln Square.

When the festival began 37 years ago, it took up one block. Now, it’s five blocks long and celebrates the start of fall.

Fortunate for festival goers, farmers said this year’s harvest was an above average one.
