CHICAGO — A new class was inducted into the LGBT Hall of Fame this week.
16 people were inducted on Tuesday night, including former Chicago mayor Lori Lightfoot, Chicago Tribune music critic John Von Rhein and WGN’s own Sean Lewis.
Founded in 1991, Chicago’s LGBT Hall of Fame recognizes members of the community who have made significant contributions to the quality of life or well-being of the LGBT community and the city of Chicago.
Is the only city-sanctioned city-sanctioned LGBT Hall of Fame in the world.
