Austin resident wins $1M with scratch ticket purchased in northwest Austin

AUSTIN (KXAN) — On Friday, the Texas Lottery Commission said an Austin resident, who elected to remain anonymous, claimed a top prize with their winning ticket worth $1 million.

Texas Lottery said the prize was won from the scratch ticket game Million Dollar Loteria and was the third of 10 top prizes worth $1 million to be claimed in the game.

The overall odds of winning any prize in the game are one in 3.29, including break-even prizes.

According to the Texas Lottery, the ticket was purchased in Austin at Pond Springs Xpress, which is located at 13125 Pond Springs Road.
