US

Universal Studios Hollywood has shared new details about its newest event, Universal Fan Fest Nights, set to debut at the theme park next year.

The new event will be “an all-new interactive and immersive separately ticketed event that brings the most compelling worlds of Sci-Fi, Fantasy, Gaming and Anime to life,” theme park officials previously announced.

The event will debut on April 25 and run select nights until May 18, 2025.

During the first day of L.A. Comic Con, theme park officials announced that “One Piece” and “Jujutsu Kaisen” will be added to the Universal Fan Fest lineup. Themed experiences for “Star Trek,” “Back to the Future” and “Dungeons and Dragons” were previously announced.

New experiences in the Wizarding World of Harry Potter and the actual bridge set piece from the U.S.S. Enterprise-D will be part of the Star Trek experience, theme park officials shared.

One Piece, the long-running anime series, celebrated its 25th anniversary last year. The show follows Monkey D. Luffy and his Straw Hat Pirates crew on their quest to find “One Piece,” the legendary treasure of the former King of the Pirates, Gol D. Roger.

The show was recently adapted into a live-action series on Netflix.

Jujutsu Kaisen is a supernatural anime that follows high school student Yuji Itadori after he accidentally becomes the host of a powerful curse and joins Tokyo Jujutsu High School, an organization that fights curses.

Select theme park attractions, including Harry Potter and the Forbidden Journey, Transformers: The Ride 3D, Revenge of the Mummy roller coaster, Jurassic World—The Ride, and the Simpsons Ride, will also be open during Fan Fest.

Fans can also expect themed foods and new merchandise, including collectibles, apparel, drinkware, accessories, and more, during Universal Fan Fest Nights and beyond.
