Southern California man arrested for alleged sex assault of young child

A Southern California man was arrested for the alleged sexual assault of a young child.

The suspect was identified as David Dionisio Wolfe, 29, according to the San Bernardino County Sheriff’s Department. 

On Aug. 7, deputies began investigating allegations of sexual assault involving a child under 14 years old.

Authorities later discovered the young boy was allegedly sexually assaulted on multiple occasions by Wolfe.

Further details, including how the boy knew the suspect, were not released.

David Dionisio Wolfe, 29, is seen in a booking photo from the San Bernardino County Sheriff’s Department.

On Sept. 24, Wolfe was arrested on charges of lewd and lascivious acts with a child. He was booked into the High Desert Detention Center.

Detectives believe there may be more victims who have yet to come forward.
