HINSDALE, Ill. — A fatal crash near the Hinsdale Oasis early Wednesday morning has caused significant back-ups on the southbound Tri-State Tollway (I-294) during morning commute hours.
According to Illinois State Police, just before 4:30 a.m., a female was killed after a semi-truck hit her car while she was pushing it in the right lane.
ISP said the right lane and exit lane to the Hinsdale Oasis would be closed for multiple hours Wednesday morning, and delays were building up beyond the junction of I-294 and I-88.
