Davante Adams not expected to play vs. Broncos with hamstring issue

Davante Adams will likely not suit up on Sunday when the Raiders face the Broncos.

Adams is expected to miss his second consecutive game with a hamstring issue, according to ESPN’s Adam Schefter.

This all comes amid growing chatter that his days in Las Vegas could be coming to an end.

Speculation over Adams’ future in Sin City hit a fever pitch Tuesday after it was reported that he had told the Raiders he preferred to be traded.

Earlier on Wednesday, Schefter reported that Adams, 31, placed two teams high on his list of preferred destinations that would reunite him with Davante Adamsquarterbacks he once played with.

Among those two teams were the Jets, whose QB is Aaron Rodgers, and the Saints, who have Derek Carr under center.

Adams played with Rodgers in Green Bay and Carr in Las Vegas.

Adams has spoken glowingly about Rodgers recently, which included a comment during an interview on “Up & Adams with Kay Adams” on Tuesday and over the summer on the “Club Shay Shay” podcast.

“The thought of playing with Aaron is obviously amazing,” Adams said in July. “I already know what that’s like — which is similar to why I came here and reunited with Derek [Carr] was ’cause I had familiarity with him. And anytime you have that, it gives you a little bit more confidence than starting fresh with somebody you’ve never played with before, and it helps when they’re the best to ever play the game — or at least that’s how I feel. I don’t know how you feel about that, but that’s certainly how I feel, and [Rodgers has] given me an opportunity to show the world what I can do.”
