The Bears are “definitely figuring it out,” quarterback Caleb Williams said Wednesday following an improved offensive performance Sunday against the Rams.
The former No. 1 overall pick said the team’s offensive identity is coming into focus after winning by six at Soldier Field.
“I think last game was a huge stepping stone for us, to be able to go against a team like that and coaches like that. …” he said. “There’s a lot of knowledge over there. To be able to get the run game going … I think we’re taking the steps in the right direction.”
Williams played his most precise game of the season, going 17-for-23 for 157 yards, one touchdown and a 106.6 passer rating. Earlier in the season, he had passer ratings of 55.7 in Week 1, 51 in Week 2 and 80.8 in Week 3.
The Bears host the Panthers on Sunday at Soldier Field.
