14-year-old boy critical after Auburn Gresham shooting

CHICAGO – A 14-year-old boy is hospitalized in critical condition after a shooting Tuesday night in Chicago’s Auburn Gresham neighborhood.

According to police, around 7:30 p.m., officers responded to the 7800 block of S. Marshfield Ave. There, police found the 14-year-old suffering from multiple gunshot wounds.

First responders rushed the boy to Comers Children’s Hospital, initially in critical condition.

No one is in custody. Area Two Detectives are investigating.
