Police seek man who committed ‘indecent act’ in front of children in Rogers Park

Chicago police are looking for a man who allegedly committed an “indecent act” in front of children in Rogers Park on Sunday.

Two children were outside in the 6200 block of North Maplewood Avenue about 5:53 p.m. when the man approached, committed an “indecent act” and left, police said. The children went inside their home. The man later returned, then left the area, walking southbound on Maplewood Avenue.

The man was described as between 35 and 45 years of age with a beard, light complexion and medium build, police said.
