BURNET COUNTY, Texas (KXAN) — A man was sentenced on Sept. 18 in connection to aggravated sexual assault of a child in Burnet County.
According to Burnet County court documents, 41-year-old Jackey Martin was convicted by a jury for aggravated sexual assault of an eight-year-old child and sentenced to serve life in prison.
Documents said he pleaded not guilty related to the charge on Sept. 18.
Toward his sentence, Martin received a jail credit of 559 days.
