Man dies a week after West Garfield Park shooting

A man has died a week after being shot on the West Side.

On Sept. 18, Kari Lee, 29, was outside in the 200 block of North Pulaski Road in West Garfield Park when a person got out of a grey sedan and fired shots at him around 9 a.m., Chicago police and the Cook County medical examiner’s office said.

Lee was struck in the head and taken to in critical condition to Stroger Hospital, police said. He died of his injuries Wednesday.

No arrests were made.
