A group pushing to change Lakewood’s construction rules turned in a petition with around 8,000 signatures late last week that would require every large development to provide land for the city to build a park. Current Lakewood law requires large developments to give land to the city for park spaces, but developers can choose to pay a fee so that the city can build a park elsewhere instead…
