The two-time NBA All-Star played with the Celtics from 2015 to 2017.

Isaiah Thomas returned to the Celtics’ home city yesterday and stopped by Boston College to play basketball with students and meet fans.

The former Celtics guard initially posted on X on Sunday, asking local colleges if their gyms were open for him to “come hoop.” Over 200 fans in the area responded with available schools and recreation centers around the city.

Thomas ended up at Boston College’s Margot Connell Recreation Center, where the two-time NBA All-Star played against members of the men’s basketball team, met and spoke with fans, and took photos.

Thomas also held a meet-and-greet Monday night at Kowloon Restaurant, during which he shared stories from his time with the Celtics and answered questions from reminiscing fans.
