The San Jose Fire Department responded to a four-acre vegetation fire near the airport Saturday afternoon, authorities said on social media.
The fire broke out near Hedding Street and Spring Street, just south of the San Jose Mineta International Airport, authorities said.
The blaze was reported at 1:48 p.m., authorities added. It was under control by 2:55 p.m., with fire fighters continuing to mop up.
The fire impacted traffic on nearby streets, according to the social media post. There were no structures damaged and no injuries reported.
