A former Patriots player is reportedly accused of assaulting an 82-year-old man at a Planet Fitness in Rhode Island last month.

According to Boston 25 News, Patrick Pass, 46, is charged with assault on a person over 60 causing bodily injury in connection with the incident at the gym in North Providence on Aug. 28.

Police told the station that Pass, who played seven seasons with New England and won three Super Bowl titles with the team, allegedly shoved the elderly man in an argument over exercise equipment, causing him to fall to the ground and suffer injuries to his lower back.

Pass was arrested and arraigned Wednesday in connection with the incident, WBZ reports. Bail was set at $10,000 personal recognizance, and he was ordered not to have contact with the victim. He will return to court January 8.
