Bears fall to 1-1 with 19-13 loss to Texans

HOUSTON – The Chicago Bears were handed their first loss of the season, falling to the Houston Texans 19-13 on Sunday Night Football.

In his first road test of the season, rookie quarterback Caleb Williams completed 23 passes on 37 attempted for 174 yards and two interceptions.

The Bears managed their first offensive touchdown of the season in the second quarter as running back Khalil Herbert found pay dirt to get into the Houston lead.

Wide receiver Keenan Allen was out with a heel injury, while rookie wide receiver Rome Odunze managed to suit up after nursing a sprained knee he suffered in Week 1.
