Man fatally shot, 2 others stabbed in West Town

CHICAGO – One person was shot and killed and two others were injured after being stabbed Sunday morning near Humboldt Park in West Town.

Chicago police said just before 11:30 a.m., a group of people got into a fight in the 3100 block of West Luis Munoz Marin Drive when shots were fired.

A 47-year-old man was shot in the back and taken to Mt. Sinai Hospital where he died. Two other men, ages 42 and 35, were stabbed in the face and taken to Stroger Hospital where they are listed as stable, according to investigators.

No arrests have been made and Area Five Detectives are investigating.
